Explore an actual Great Lakes Freighter! The Museum Ship Valley Camp offers more than just a tour of her deck. Housed inside her massive cargo holds is a 20,000 square foot museum with over 100 exhibits!
What once held coal, iron ore, and limestone is now home to displays showcasing maritime memories, shipwrecks, lighthouses, and local history. Explore the coal-fired steamer from engine room to pilot house,
peer into our four 1200-gallon aquariums, view lifeboats from the sunken Edmund Fitzgerald, explore crew quarters and dining areas inside the freighter that sailors called home for nearly 50 years. Complete with ramping system to help you
navigate from level to level.
