Nature's Kennel Sled Dog Adventures--Premier Winter Sled Dog Adventures. DRIVE YOUR OWN DOG TEAM! Nature's Kennel, owned by Tasha Stielstra, is located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula approximately 90 minutes northwest of the Mackinac Bridge. Nature's Kennel offers a variety of "drive-your-own-dog team" adventures ranging from half day and full day trips to overnight adventures. All trips are fully guided and designed for beginners. The full day and half day trips allow guests to either drive their own team or to take a ride in the sled. Overnight guests learn how to drive their own team and spend the night at Musher's Village complete with a yurt, cabin, cookshack and sauna. No experience is necessary, trips are suitable for all ages and abilities. Nature's Kennel can accommodate small and large groups.
