Nelis' Dutch Village

Trust us with your family's valuable time and you'll find "New family memories are waiting for you." Your group will enjoy our new interactive activities, such as Dutch Dance Lessons, Stroopwafel Cookie Making and Learn a few Dutch Words. Step back into the Netherlands of over 100 years ago on a day when a festival came to town, featuring Dutch dancers in wooden shoes, Dutch architecture and authentic canals. Also learn how wooden shoes, blue delft pottery, and Dutch cheeses are made.

"De Kinderboerderij" is our top-notch Petting Farm, and features interactions with lots of friendly farm animals. Our rides include a giant Wooden Shoe Slide, a 1924 carousel, and the "Zweefmolen" (Dutch Swing Ride). Recent additions include "Tractor Time," drive a mini electric tractor around Nelis Tulip Farm, the "Pirate Balloon Battle" water balloon launchers, "Harry's Windmill Ride,” a 45’ tall Ferris Wheel where it is like riding on the fins of a windmill, and "Het Klim Kasteel," the Climbing Castle. We have unique shopping, tasty Dutch food, beautiful flowers, hand-dipped ice cream, and a fudge shop!.
