Northern Lights Arena is open year round. Outreach activities include a walking track, learn to skate programs, non-ice events, and many other recreational activities.The core business utilizes the ice rink facilities for figure skating, hockey and speed skating. Attend one of the many concerts held each year, or just stop by and check it out.

The music is X rated not R yes X, language no minor should be hearing, the raunchiest you could imagine :( . If it were adult open swim I would deal with that. It could be a very cool family day...

Great Arena
We have been to Northern Lights Arena many times. Just never thought to review it! We were in Alpena for a Hockey Tournament. Very clean facility. Plenty of clean restrooms. Nice walking track...

Wonderful facility!
This place had some problems the past couple years with a "poor management" issue, but that has been resolved! A great place to watch hockey, do some skating, and a great place to have birthday...
