Northern Natural Cider House & Winery is located in the village of Chief, about 12 miles Northeast of Manistee, near the towns of Onekama, Bear Lake and Kaleva. We have been the producer of Michigan's Finest Organic Hard Cider since 2007 and have been making Organic Fresh Cider since 1997. At Northern Natural, Organic farming isn't just a fad, it's a way of life. All of our cider is fresh-pressed using only whole organic Northern Michigan apples, grown on the shores of Lake Michigan, where some of the best apples in the country are grown! We never add sugar or use concentrates when creating our ciders.
We also offer a full line of our private label wines and craft beers and have two permanent food trucks that offer delicious scratch made food. The Pizza Wagon creates some of the best pizzas in the area using fresh local ingredients whenever possible. The Roaming Harvest truck serves up some of the best smashburgers, tacos, and specials like house-smoked pulled pork or brisket sandwiches. Our food trucks and Chefs have been recognized multiple times for being the some of the best in the area.
We are known throughout Northern Michigan as a go-to spot for live music, where we host some of the best musicians that Michigan has to offer. Acts like May Erlewine, The Accidentals, Seth Bernard, Rachael Davis and others are regulars on our schedule.
We also have a disc golf course and host private events.
