Northwoods Resort

In the heart of the Upper Peninsula on beautiful Au Train Lake. Only two miles from Lake Superior. Open year round. Daily and weekly rentals. Northwoods Resort has 16 newly remodeled housekeeping cabins and cottages. Each cabin is equipped with cable TV and has a full kitchen with utensils, flatware, pots and pans, a full sized refrigerator, freezer access, & gas stove/oven. Many also have gas or wood-burning fireplaces. Our cabins range in size from cozy single bedrooms to spacious five bedroom cottages. Northwoods Resort features boat livery with 14 foot rental boats and motors, canoe and kayak livery with 15' canoes and kayaks. Three different river trips from three to five hours. Ice and bait available. Sauna, child play area, safe and sandy swimming beach with swim raft, horseshoe pit, laundry room, charcoal grills, volley ball and basketball courts and duck blinds.
