The Oaks Campground is a nature-first campground on 155 acres in Munith, Michigan, right next to the Waterloo Recreation Area. About 120 acres of trails wind through the property for hiking, biking and golf carts, and the back trails border Michigan Audubon's Haehnle Sanctuary, where thousands of sandhill cranes gather each fall. Swim at the lake's new sand beach and Aquaglide floating water park, fish from the kids' dock on the fishing lake, and let the dog stretch out in the dog run. RV sites have water and electric (50 amp on short-term sites, 30 amp on seasonal sites), and there are tent sites, a camp store, playgrounds, and restrooms with showers and laundry. A Halloween weekend in late September caps the season. Open May 1 to October 20.
