Oxbow Park is located on the east side of the Hardy Dam backwaters. There are 17 miles of waterway from Hardy Dam to Rogers Dam for recreational water-skiing, swimming, fishing or boating. This is a great area for camping, hiking and a brilliant view of the fall colors with the blue waters and the white sandy beaches. We are located about 25 minutes from Newaygo, Big Rapids and Fremont, and about 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids. We have 197 campsites, one cabin, docks. a dumping station (for waste water), two playgrounds, three service buildings (toilets & showers), three out johns (vault toilets), a swim beach, pavilion, horse shoe pits, grills, volleyball court, 1/2 basketball court, very nice flat boat launch and more.
