The Old Baldy Trail is located in Petoskey State Park in the northern Lower Peninsula. The Old Baldy Trail is a short, 0.5-mile loop that traverses through wooded dune area up to the top of Old Baldy Dune. This climb is one of the most popular dune climbs in Michigan, due to the scenic views that the climb provides. The trail can be picked up at a trailhead opposite of the Campers Registration Office near the entrance of Dunes Campground. Hiking is the only activity permitted on this trail.
