Pigeon River State Forest Campground
This scenic and wooded campground is located on the banks of the Pigeon River. It can be found in Otsego County deep within the Pigeon River Country State Forest, just 13.5 miles east of Vanderbilt via Sturgeon Valley Road and Twin Lakes.
Secluded in scenic woodland along the Pigeon River this beautiful facility provides easy access to hiking trails, excellent fishing opportunities, and wildlife recreation pursuits. It has 14 sites for tent and small trailer use, water access and a hiking pathway. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a free-flowing artesian well. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations. This campground is managed by Otsego Lake State Park.
