Experience the woods and wetlands of St. Clair County! Just a short drive from Port Huron, the Pine River Nature Center has over three miles of marked hiking trails through beautiful terrain. A one-mile section of the Pine River flows through the property providing tranquil views and many opportunities to view wildlife. Wildflowers and grasses abound in our three-acre restored tall grass prairie. Trails are open daily dawn through dusk. Trail Maps are available outdoors at our kiosk. The log cabin nature center is generally open Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We are also open the second Saturday of the month from 11 am - 3 pm during May - September. Make sure your visit includes the first publicly owned universally accessible treehouse.
