Port Sanilac Lighthouse was built in 1886, this lighthouse originally burned kerosene, but was electrified in 1929. It is now a private residence, but the light remains an active aid for navigation. Year-round walkable grounds outside the fenced area, tours available in the summer. Photo courtesy @brian_simms_photography
