Sand Point is located just four miles northeast of Munising. It is situated at the end of Sand Point Road. This gem of a beach is very popular spot for tourists and residents alike. Also, Sand Point is a great place to watch sunsets. Follow H-58 east out of Munising. Take a left on Sand Point Road and follow to the end of the road. The beach is approximately four miles northeast of Munising.
The Weather Channel has named Sand Point Beach within Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore as one of the “Top Five Summer Beaches in America” in 2007.
