Sandcastle Cottage

Sandcastle Cottage is serenely located on Lake Huron's Thunder Bay, eight miles south of Alpena, Michigan. A private wooded setting with 100 feet of pristine sugar-sand beachfront, there is a spectacular view of the sparkling bay and nearby island. The charming two bedroom cottage contains a large family room area adjoining the full kitchen. The covered side patio sports a BBQ, picnic table and sitting area. The front porch has another picnic table that is just a stone's throw away from the warm sand and refreshing lake. The cottage is fully equipped with a range, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, games, radio, vcr and tv; however, you must bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. No pets or smokers. Weekly rates available from June through September, Saturday to Saturday. Shorter rentals available upon request.
