Some beach, somewhere...is right here! Trelawny Resort is ideally situated on Lake Huron's Thunder Bay (eight miles south of Alpena, Michigan) with 200 feet of sugar sand beach and a view that is unsurpassed anywhere on Michigan's Sunrise side.
We have nine cottages which are built on or near the beach. Each cabin has a BBQ, picnic table and close parking. You can lay on the beach in the sun or sit on a lawnchair in the shade and enjoy the beautiful lakeshore breeze. There are lots of things to do in the area. Or you can borrow a book from our library and just relax.
Don't forget to attend the Monday night hotdog roast! A long time Trelawny tradition that will give you a chance to meet and greet your fellow vacationers and give your kids a chance to cook a hot dog over the firepit on our beach. We look forward to your visit!
