Serenity's Nest

Waterfront one acre lot on the West Branch of the Muskegon river. Serenity's Nest was named for the beauty and serenity that was felt when I first visited. A three bedroom, one bath A-Frame that is located just ten minutes outside of Houghton Lake. Fully furnished and offers all the comforts of home. Sleeps up to eight, six in beds. The peacefulness of the rivers edge offers a home to many wildlife species. I have seen beavers, deer, raccoons, many birds including the Blue Herring, chipmunks, squirrels and of course the fish that jump from the river and an occasional turtle is spotted. This cabin is a great place to bring your family for a great peaceful vacation or reunion. Fishing from the rivers edge can be great fun for the family, the evening campfire can be a relaxing way to end your day or enjoy a late night snack, a fire cooked Koegle Vienna (best hot dogs in MI) or maybe even a smore. For larger groups a six person pop-up camper and tents along with a screen tent, two canoes and a flat bottom row boat are also available for rent. Cleaning fee refundable if you clean, non refundable if we clean. Pets allowed for a fee, maximum of two with advance reservation. Linens not provided but avail. for a P/P fee. Max 20 people on site.
