Shepherd Organic Produce & Poultry LLC

We are a USDA Certified Organic farm by GOA (Global Organic Alliance). We specialize in high quality, fresh, Organic produce and poultry. Our goal is to provide healthy food and educate on the importance of Organic products. 

We have a store on our farm that is open from 8-8 everyday where we have items available year round. We have three hoophouses on our farm that allow us to grow year round. As the seasons change our products available in our farm store change as well. The farm store is self-serve where you pay in an honor box. 

Our farm was started in 2018 by Tyler Shepherd when he purchased 14 acres in Hemlock, MI. It was previously farmed as a Certified Organic cash crop farm by his uncle. Together him and his wife, Hannah Shepherd, built their farm from the ground up. The first year we operated out of a carport tent, the second year we built a barn and two hoophouses, and the third year we built an additional hoophouse and a barn to raise our baby chickens in. 

We are the only Certified Organic Produce and Poultry farm in Saginaw County and we are proud of that! Come out and visit our farm store to check out our farm and see what products we have to offer!
