Designed by former University of Michigan golf coach William Newcomb, Spruce Run was aptly named to reflect the numerous fir and spruce trees that line its fairways and undulating greens. The course gracefully winds among the rolling hills overlooking East Grand Traverse Bay. Par 72, 6,741 yd. layout with bentgrass tees, greens, and fairway, and water hazards on 13 holes. Wildlife including ducks, geese, blue herons, swans, and muskrat. Located at the Grand Traverse Resort. The course is a certified member of the Turfgrass Environmental Stewardship Program.
