U.P. Sunrise Cottages consists of nine quiet, cozy lakefront cottages in the heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, on spring-fed Farmers Lake. Let us be your family-friendly vacation destination, or your home base for exploring all the U.P. has to offer!

We are near NMU and Marquette, but well outside of town, and close to Sawyer International Airport (MQT). Many of our guests take day trips to attractions in the Marquette area, as well as to Munising and Pictured Rocks. Others explore by snowmobile or side-by-sides, riding from the resort less than a mile to Trail 8.
