The Terrace Inn is a Historic Hotel and Restaurant established in 1911 in Bay View Association, a mile north of downtown Petoskey. The restaurant serves freshly prepared, from scratch items for its dinner menu June through Labor Day and serves home made Pizza on Sunday and Monday nights. Off-season it is generally open to the public on weekends, unless there is a special event. Weddings are also hosted and the Inn can be rented in part or entirely for groups. The thirty rooms are all unique and charming ranging from smaller, historically sized rooms called "cottage" rooms to King sized suites more recently created by merging two rooms. All rooms have private bath. Smaller rooms have just a shower, some have full bath with tub and smaller suites have jetted bath tub/shower and King suite large jet tubs and separate double showers. Breakfast is included daily, along with maid service, Wifi, cable TV, a/c, clock radio, and a friendly staff happy to assist you in planning your exploration of the area. The beach is private to Bay View and Inn guests, the State Park is just 2 miles away. Many recreational and cultural activities are available year round.
