Thistlewood isn’t simply a place to stay—it’s a home filled with stories. The A-frame blends mid-century modern and bohemian influences with a thoughtfully curated collection of family heirlooms, vintage pieces and one-of-a-kind finds gathered over time. Rather than furnishing the cabin to feel like a traditional vacation rental, we’ve intentionally layered old and new to give every corner warmth, character and a sense of history.
From vintage lighting and collected artwork to pottery, books and unexpected little treasures, many of the pieces throughout Thistlewood have a story behind them. Combined with the cabin’s classic A-frame architecture, warm wood interiors, wall of windows and peaceful setting among the pines, the result is a space that feels personal, lived-in and distinctly its own.
Our hope is that guests don’t just feel like they’re staying at Thistlewood—they feel at home here, surrounded by meaningful objects and thoughtful details that invite them to slow down, get comfortable and create a few stories of their own.
