Tinker Studio LLC was founded in 2014 by a husband and wife team as a working artist’s studio. In the summer of 2016 Tinker Studio evolved into a larger space, featuring more artist's and designer's work. In the Spring of 2022, we moved into our new, expanded space in the same Seven Hills Development. Local artists and artisans are the heart of Tinker Studio! From fine art to fine craft, to supplies for your next D.I.Y project, to jewelry and accessories, to inventive greeting cards and wrap, we have something for everyone to enjoy!

- Tinker Studio is a place to meet new people, new ideas, new mediums, new techniques and new artists. Where locals meet visitors, and artists meet art appreciators… and all nestled into the beautiful Northern Michigan scenery of Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City.
Make:
- At Tinker Studio, we believe that making should be FUN. We are all makers. Tinker Studio doubles as a working artist’s studio, so don’t be surprised to see some making going on when you stop in! Demonstrations of materials and techniques are a regular occurrence here…come & check it out.
Learn:
- Tinker Studio offers a variety of classes and workshops. Novice to accomplished, serious art student to dabbler…there is a place for you to learn at Tinker Studio.
