Located on the floodwaters of Tomahawk Creek, this rustic campground offers great opportunities for paddlesports and fishing. There are 47 campsites separated into two units, one on the northwest shore (west unit) and the other on the northeast shore (east unit). Sites 1-24 are at the east unit and sites 25-47 are at the west unit. The campsites are suitable for tent, small trailer or large trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. Campers are allowed to drive ORVs in and out of this campground to enjoy state forest roads and trails open to motorized use. The campground is located 12.5 miles southeast of Onaway via M-33 South and Tomahawk Lake Highway. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
