Walk where heroes walked when you board USS LST Veterans
Museum on the Muskegon waterfront. The historic warship – a “landing ship tank”
– was in three World War II invasions including Omaha Beach on D-Day. Restored
and operated by volunteers, she houses thousands of artifacts honoring America’s
heroes from wars all the way back to the beginning of the 20th
Century. The ship can be toured from the engine room to the steering deck and
visitors can take home a terrific memento from the gift shop. Group tours and
overnight stays are available. Open May-September.

The other...

Great WWII history.
This ship was in the D-day invasion and it is a great tour. The museum is top shelf. I think we enjoyed it much better than the WWII museum in New Orleans.
