Van Riper-Miners Loop

Miners Loop, a part of the trail systems inside Van Riper State Park, is a short, 0.25-mile journey. This trail can be combined with the Old Wagon Trail to create a 2.9-mile journey through the thick forests, past scenic ponds and views of Lake Michigamme. The trail is composed of scenic bridges and benches and a few picnic areas. Hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing are allowed on this pathway, weather permitting.
