Body
The 1.5-mile Old Wagon Road Trail takes visitors thorugh moderate and varying terrain. With careful observation, you can see the bases of old power poles stretched along the trail. You can combine your route with the River Trail to create a loop that features tall pine forests and scenic overlooks of the Peshekee River. The trailhead is located along U.S. 41 across from the main entrance to the park.
The .25-mile Miners Loop, a spur trail off the Old Wagon Trail, can also be added to your route.
