Body
The 1.5-mile River Trail can easily be combined with the Old Wagon Road Trail to create a longer loop. When combined with the Old Wagon Road Trail, you’ll find yourself hiking through deep pine forests with views of the Peshekee River. Along the route, there are a few small climbs. The trailhead is located in the group-use campground or along Martin’s Landing Road (turn off of Peshekee Grade County Road 607).
For a different experience, try the park’s winter lantern-lit snowshoe event.
