Walsh Road Equestrian State Forest Campground & Trail Camp

This rustic campground is located adjacent to Shore-to-Shore Trail. It is designed to accommodate equestrian campers with nine designated sites for tent and small trailer use. A group area (event permit holders only) has a maximum capacity for 40 individuals and can accommodate tents and small trailers. The facility includes vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump. There is also a submersible pump that requires a 5000-watt generator. Recreation Passport required for entry. Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call for availability.

Location: Crawford County, just 24 miles east of Grayling via North Down River Road and Walsh Road.
