The Wayne Historical Museum, located in the former city offices building, circa. 1878, opened in 1964 and features more than 100 exhibits tracing the path from village to city. Artifacts include early Nankin Township history and records; first landowning documents; genealogies; documents; histories; pictures of early businesses, industries, postmasters, and community leaders; and local cemetery records.
