The Cedar River Trail is located in Wells State Park in Menominee on the west side of the Upper Peninsula. The trail is 7 miles and contains three different loops; the Timber Loop, the Evergreen Loop, and the Ridgewood Loop. The Timber trail loop reaches the south end of the park from the day-use areas while the Evergreen and Ridgewood loops travel along the north end of the park along M-35 and through areas filled with rustic cabins. Visitors will truly experience the beauty of the Upper Peninsula on their journey along this pathway, including views of Green Bay, sandy beaches and rustic cabins. The Cedar River Trail is open year-round for hiking and cross-country skiing.
