The 36-acre Windmill Island Gardens commemorate Holland's Dutch heritage with DeZwaan (The Swan) windmill, built in 1761. It was the last to leave the Netherlands, in 1964. Costumed guides provide a tour of the windmill. There is also a "Story of DeZwaan" movie, an Amsterdam street organ, an antique children's carousel, a miniature Little Netherlands, and more.
