Yankee Springs-Hall Lake Trail
The Hall Lake Trail, located in Yankee Springs Recreation Area, is a 2-mile footpath known for its unusual geological formations and rugged terrain, and when it is combined with the Devil’s Soup Bowl loop, the journey lasts approximately 3.4 miles. Visitors to the trail will pass by interesting bogs and unique depressions known as the Devil’s Soup Bowl and Graves Hill. The trail is located between Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Battle Creek, providing the perfect escape from any of these urban environments. Certain areas of the path veer off into designated ski trails or mountain bike trails, while the rest of the pathway is primarily designated for hiking.
