Yankee Springs Recreation Area, located in Middleville, contains an 11.3-mile, single-track mountain biking trail for use. The trail contains several rocks, roots, climbs, and switchbacks, making it perfect for any adventure-seeking mountain biker. The trail also contains several quick descends that pass through mixed pine tree forest areas. The mountain biking staging and parking are can be found just north of the intersection of Gun Lake Road and Yankee Springs Road near Deep Lake and the rustic campground.
