Yooper Produce is located in Bark River which is in the southern, central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Dave and Laura Marohnic started gardening in 2012 with a desire to produce fresh, chemical free, produce for family and friends. Since then they have expanded to have two high tunnels, 2.5 acres of blueberries, cherry, apply, pear, and plum trees as well as two large outside garden areas where people can pick their own vegetables. In 2025 Yooper Produce Farm Market was established and the farm started to participate in Food as Medicine, Senior Project Fresh and have the ability to process Bridge, Snap and WIC. We are seasonal and the market is open starting in July through mid October. We do have special events and sales from time to time which we broadcast through social media and our website.
