Pinckney Recreation Area - Dec. 14, Volunteer Stewardship Workday
Join us in protecting a valuable dry sand prairie ecosystem in Pinckney Recreation Area, where 22 unique natural communities form the diverse landscape. We will be stewarding this fire-dependent natural community by cutting and treating invasive shrubs threatening the native plant population.

Warren Dunes State Park - Dec. 13, Volunteer Stewardship Workday
Volunteers are needed to help remove resprouting woody invasive species in the forests of Warren Dunes State Park! Volunteers will be trained to identify target species, with all equipment provided.
Long-sleeve shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.

Join Ms. Cassie from Capital Area District Libraries for a Pop-Up Storytime at the Michigan History Museum! Each month we'll explore a new corner of Michigan's past through stories, songs and hands-on fun designed especially for young children and their families. Best suited for ages six and under
