A classic example of a modest mid-western town, with friendly neighbors, a historic downtown business district, and beautiful old homes. Horrocks Garden Center is the most unique garden center you will find in west Michigan, with a large selection of evergreen trees and shrubs. The John C. Blanchard House, home of the Ionia County Historical Society and Ionia County Museum, is a fine example of 1880's Italianate architecture. This beautiful mansion is situated in the heart of Ionia's Historic District.
