This one day class is taught by professional archery instructors. This is an introduction to archery as a healthy and fun outdoor activity. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is committed to helping people get outdoors more and appreciating the natural resources this Great Lake State offers everyone. Participants learn the safe and correct way to shoot a bow and arrow plus become knowledgeable about the different kinds of archery equipment available. Participants will be shooting at targets throughout the day and finish the day with a fun competition for prizes.

The Ludington Visitor Center is located in Ludington State Park. A  Recreation Passport is required for entry into the park and can be purchased at the park entrance.
