Concerts Under the Stars is an immersive full-dome concert experience curated by the Grand Rapids Public Museums Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium, highlighting local musicians and visual artists. Local West Michigan bands will perform their music, enhanced by original video art projected onto the seated Planetariums 50-foot dome. Visitors are invited to explore the Museums first two floors of exhibits during the cocktail hour before the concert.

Parking:
Parking is available at the Museums parking ramp on Front Street, complimentary validation provided upon check-in.

About Sunken Melody: Sunken Melody is the ambient project from seasoned musician Steve Leaf, known for his collaborative spirit and work with bands like The Ex Pats, Public Access, and The Crane Wives. Blending drum machines, synthesizers, vocals, and guitar, Sunken Melody weaves together dreamy, minimalist beats and melodies, perfect for relaxation, introspection, and to assuage the frequent existential quandary.
About Joe Zook: Joe Zook is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and radio host. Hes the director of the documentary Islanders, co-host of the podcast The Long Road Home Alone, and the Production Manager at GRTV. Hes also a hopeless analog media enthusiast, collector of rare laserdiscs, hoarder of videocassettes, and student of the human condition.
