Rapid River Memorial Day Parade

Rapid River is having its annual Memorial Day Parade and events in the Township Park on Monday, May 25, 2026. 

The Parade starts at 1 p.m. after Flag Ceremony at the Lions Club, the crowning of the Memorial Day Queen, and the selection of the Grand Marshall at the Lion’s Club at noon. Adult Kickball Tournament, Corn Hole Tournament, face painting & cake walk; Food Vendors,, a Beer Garden in the Pavillion with Music by Cory Williams and Chasey Gibbs, plus so much more!

We will have the National Anthem sang at 3 p.m. in the Township Park, followed by the playing of TAPS in Honor of our fallen Soldiers, who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

All proceeds from this event go back into our community in local scholarships, the Honor Flight, the American Legion, Key Club, National Honor Society, the Backpack Program, and more. It is the least we can do on this special day to honor the memory of our fallen soldiers.
