Michigan’s Linda Hundt, owner of Sweetie-licious, headlines this Women’s Wellness island retreat centered on the balance of living a healthy lifestyle in a hectic world, October 16 - 18, 2015. Mackinac Island is the perfect back-drop as participants get equal doses of knowledge, recreation and relaxation. This retreat includes enrichment sessions on health, nutrition, exercise and more.

In 2002, after struggling with depression for many years, Linda quit her job to pursue her life-long dream of starting her pie shop business. As a home-based business, she sold her fare at farm markets and high-end restaurants. In 2005, the business grew into a retail café bakery in DeWitt Michigan. The entire business is based on love and nostalgia through the business’ mission, comfort food, vintage ambiance, and merchandise.

Utilize the weekend to take care of yourself with time for reflection and exercise. It’s the perfect time to take in the beauty of the island. Enjoy a hike, a leisurely bike ride, a carriage tour or a horseback ride through the woods. There is also Cruise for a Cause, a group 3-mile walk with proceeds benefiting Mackinac Island’s Community Cancer Fund.

Yoga, shopping and spa treatments round out the weekend, with a wee bit o’wine too! A weekend with no kids, no husbands, no work…just you and your best gal pals - Sign up before it’s too late!
