The line-up of opening flavors: Madagascar vanilla bean, milk chocolate brownie swirl, strawberry rhubarb, pistachio, mocha, cherry chocolate swirl (with a gastrique made with cherry vinegar from Red Truck Orchards), cookie dough, Meyer lemon olive oil with Black Mission fig swirl (made with Fustini’s olive oil) and sorbet flavors in Ecuadorian heirloom 70% dark chocolate, blueberry lavender, mango and strawberry.
Nestled in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Grocer’s Daughter Chocolate’s gelato shop has become a favorite summer destination for gelato lovers of all ages. This year’s opening marks their fifth season of classic favorites alongside inventive seasonal creations inspired by Michigan harvests and summertime indulgence.
