The Reel Pleasure III, is a 33 foot Trojan Mid-Cabin, state-inspected and licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard to carry up to 6 charter passengers. The Reel Pleasure is equipped with the latest technology such as Raymarine multi-functional fishing and navigational system, Cannon Digi-Troll downriggers, Sirius Satellite Radio and all the fishing equipment you'll need to experience the excitement of Great Lakes fishing! Captain Larry Scharich has over 35 years experience fishing for trout and salmon, has field tested many fishing products for various manufacturers, has won several fishing tournaments and also operates the Shipwatch Marina, where the Reel Pleasure III is located. We offer full and half-day fishing charters including specialized Brown Trout charters in the spring (April-May); exciting off-shore Steelhead fishing charters during the summer (June-July); charters for the hard fighting adult Chinook Salmon or "Kings" are popular in July and August; and, during late August and early September when the majority of adult Kings move from the lake into the rivers, the feisty Coho Salmon become prime targets for our charters.
