The A2AC (Ann Arbor Art Center) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that promotes the arts and supports artists in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. It was founded in 1909 and has since become a hub for creative activity in the region, offering exhibitions, classes, workshops, and events. These programs are designed for people of all ages and skill levels and cover various artistic disciplines, including painting, drawing, ceramics, jewelry-making, printmaking, and photography.
In addition to its programming, it has made Ann Arbor a destination spot for public art, thanks to the Lucie and Larry Nisson Art in Public Program behind such initiatives as A2AC Murals and A2AC Alleys.
The A2AC is located in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor and is open to the public year-round. It is a vibrant and active community of artists and art lovers and is a wonderful resource for anyone interested in the arts in Michigan.
