Bald Mountain-North Unit Trails

Bald Mountain Recreation Area is located on the southeast side of the Lower Peninsula. The park has several trails that make up the North Unit of the park, totaling 8 miles of trail on both sides of Harmon Road. The White Loop is a 2.1-mile walk past several small lakes near Harmon Road. Follow this to the Blue Loop, which combines with the White Loop to create a 3.6-mile hike. The North Unit also features the Graham Lakes Trail (Orange Loop) that loops for 3.6 miles around six inland lakes. Hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing are allowed on the trails, weather permitting.
