Location: Wexford County, just 12 miles northwest of Manton via M-42 and 31 Road.
This beautiful campground is partially shaded by an old red pine plantation. Its proximity to the banks of the Manistee River has made it a favorite destination for canoeing, kayaking and tubing. It is home to 25 sites and a kayak landing inside the campground - making it easy for canoe camping. Anglers can enjoy fishing for brown and rainbow trout, as well as other fish species. The North Country Trail, located just a mile from the campground, offers miles and miles of a historic scenic hiking trail. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump. Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
