The museum is packed to the rafters with an immense number of items for children and collectors alike, ranging from aisle after aisle of candy jars, Bathing Beauty postcards from 1905, rubber figures, stencils, Star Wars cards, books of paper dolls, polished stones, Disney figures, cowboys, and trolls -- to over fifty valuable and even priceless metal cars and trucks from the 20s and 30s fastened to the roofboards. We also stock a variety of arts and crafts, jewelry, scent oils, and candles. Also on display is artwork by a number of artists. The store is open Memorial Day weekend through early fall. Hours vary.

We were disappointed that the space was very crowded and we were unable to view the antique toys very well.

UNIQUE
This OLD HOUSE is stuffed to the rafters with a million toys and small items. I found it to smell moldy and very claustrphobic. I would skip it the next time on the island.

A little disappointed
We visited the toy museum but it was more of a store (things for sale) than an actual museum although it did have a few old toys hanging above the toy racks to look at very little info on any of it...

Local Iconic place
Nickle toys for kids and excellent art gallery located in the building behind the museum. I have visited it every time I travel to Beaver Island. Many child hood memories stem from this place.

Fun place to see old toys and get a little something for the kids
There are all kids of old metal toys hanging from the ceiling. Fun place to stop while on a walk or bike ride. Great place to take the kids for a little something or rainy day outing for a few...
