The restored Durant Dort Carriage Company Headquarters (the birthplace of General Motors) is a National Historic Landmark and is located in historic Carriage Town in Flint, MI. We feature historic photos, furniture, carriages and automotive artifacts and documents in our small museum. Admission is free, the building is wheelchair accessible and there is plenty of free parking directly behind the building. Guided Tours are given Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 1pm to 4pm or by appointment by calling.
