The A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum of Michigan Tech showcases amazing minerals from the Great Lakes Region and around the world. Experience the beauty and splendor of minerals at one of North America's great mineral museums. See the world's best collection of Michigan minerals, the largest public display of mineral from the Great Lakes region, one of the best fluorescent mineral exhibits in the U.S., exhibits from the University of Michigan mineral collection which is held by the museum under the Michigan Mineral Alliance, and a world-record 17-ton native copper slab (not open in winter) and more. The museum is the "official Mineralogical Museum of Michigan" and a Heritage Site of the Keweenaw National Historical Park.
