George Gipp Arena (Laurium Village Ice Arena)

Ice arena. The George Gipp Arena (formerly known as the Bicentennial Arena) is open annually from November through March and hosts public skating, hockey, figure skating and private rentals. The George Gipp Arena is a smaller than regulation, one-sheet facility with four locker rooms. This arena is owned by the Village of Laurium, and is generally used for the Initiation and Mite program.
