Body
Grand Mere State Park, located in Stevensville, Michigan, offers miles of open trails that loop through the wooded areas and dunes. However, the only trail that is marked and specifically designated for hiking is the half-mile Nature Trail. The trail is paved, handicapped accessible, includes interpretive posts and winds between South Lake and the wooded dune areas of the park. The trail can be accessed at the picnic shelter at South Lake and is either traveled out-and-back or can be connected to an unmarked connected pathway that leads to the beach.
